Play Reading – Head Over Heels

There will be a reading of Head Over Heels by Gail Young in the theatre bar on Wednesday 20th August at 7.30pm. 

This popular play premiered at The Forum Studio Theatre, Chester in October 2018 and was directed by Gail herself. Her other plays include Cheshire Cats, which was staged by HTC in 2017.

Gail Young’s hilarious comedy-drama follows Jill and Andy as the navigate their way through the minefield of emotions produced by thirty-odd years of so-called wedded bliss ending in divorce. Not a pretty sight, but funny in oh so many ways…

Depressing topic for a play? Well, it could be, but definitely not in this case! This is a powerful play with plenty of comic punch and an uplifting soundtrack to accompany the drama onstage.

Head Over Heels centres on the characters of Jill and Andy but there is also a great range of other roles for both men and women. If you are free, please come along to enjoy this great little play. Hope to see you there.
